After a month hiatus, Suzanne and I were back with our original crew of Sara and Jill at Memorial West Hospital serenading and praying for patients in the 3 West Oncology Dept.
Had our monthly PARC (Patient Activity and Recreation Center) session today. Our group (Paul, Jill, Sarah, and I) were joined by Ann, another member of our Spiritual Care Team. We brought music and prayer into patients rooms in the Oncology Unit at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Suzanne and I were back at Memorial Hospital West today for another round of Music, Mirth, & Miracles. But today, we did something different: After playing music in the lobby for a few patients, Sarah the violinist, Jill (Sarah’s mother), Suzanne and I all went into several patients’ rooms for an impromptu worship time. The patients loved it!
We recently did a pre-Christmas trip to Washington, D.C. In addition to the usual tourist stuff, we had the opportunity to pray for a young man at a store who had been shot in the left arm…..
